Meshspan Kits

Ensure your space is safety compliant. Meshspan is a Pallet Racking Mesh Backing system designed to prevent stock from falling into pedestrian areas. It is designed and engineered in Australia to meet Australian standards (AS4084-2023).

• MODULAR - Meshspan is component based, with only 5 main components. It's modular nature means that it can be configured to fit ANY size or brand of racking.
• SAFE & COMPLIANT - AS4084-2023 now states that all pallet racking that has pedestrian access at the rear MUST be fitted with Mesh Backing. Meshspan exceeds the requirements of the Australian Standard and ensures that people, buildings and equipment are protected from falling inventory.
• RATED UP TO 200KG - other solutions are simply engineered to do the bare minimum and are rated to prevent 25kg. In the real world, the stock that is stored on pallets is often far heavier than this.
  
  We have designed a system that is rated at 200kg so that not only do you meet Australian Standards but you actually do keep people and equipment safe should something heavy fall.
• AUSTRALIAN MADE - Meshspan was designed by an Australian team frustrated by the limited options available in the way of Mesh Backing for racking. It is engineered and manufactured locally from 100% Australian steel.
• EASY TO INSTALL - Meshspan is designed to fit to any existing racking regardless of size, brand or configuration. Unlike traditional solutions Meshspan can be mounted to racking without the need to reconfigure beam heights.
  
  The inflexible nature of the assembly of other products often makes it difficult to overcome the positioning of pallet racking beams vertically if they align with fixing of the panel. Meshspan's Upright fixing brackets can be positioned at any point vertically on the panel, and Mesh Panels can be joined with wire spirals to create a panel vertical span of up to 1800mm to ensure the mesh can be fixed to avoid current pallet racking beam positions.
• PRACTICAL TO STORE - Due to its modular nature Meshspan can be store on a single, standard pallet unlike other solutions that are long and impractical.

PLEASE NOTE: Meshspan is NOT a load-bearing structure.

While it is designed to help prevent stock (up to 200kg) from falling, it is not intended to support the weight of stock for extended periods.

Meshspan is not a pallet buffer and is not built to withstand repeated or significant impacts.

Meshspan consists of 1200mm high modular panels that can be configured to meet any height of racking.

The Meshspan brackets are not fixed so if you have a Pallet Racking beam in the way you can simply move the Meshspan mounting bracket up or down to accomodate! If the panels don't overlap vertically for the Meshspan clips provided we can supply Gabian Spirals to secure them (pictured below).

Panels clip together horizontally to cover the width of your pallet racking bay. You can order online for standard Pallet Racking bay widths, however if you need custom sizing don't hesitate to get in touch with our team.

Meshspan is configurable in 1200mm high panels that can overlap.

Mesh backing coverage of up to 7200mm high is able to be purchased directly from the website however should you need backing for taller racking simply get in touch and we can put together a free, no obligation quote.

Meshspan can also be configured to any width of racking. Pallet racking bay widths of 1372mm - 4267mm can be ordered online which should cover almost every rack configuration but if you have something different installed let us know and we can put together a custom quote.

Engineer rated to prevent falls of up to 200kg. Traditional solutions only offer prevention for 25kg.
